I just searched myself, and if I were to start Medicare for the 1st time, there is a payment for ursodiol. I looked at Humana, United Health, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I did that premiums or coverages will increase, and many medical providers are dropping their Medicare Advantage contracts. You may want to check out this article for further insight. Don't give up! I have Medicare Advantage, and it covers 100% of everything except specialty drugs (i.e., Ocalivia, IqirVo, and Livdelzi). Check Medicare Advantage Humana and/or the manufacturer as well. I take Livdelzi, and the manufacturer covers it. You can check this link: www.TAFCares.org

Medicare Humana Advantage pays $47.00 monthly. I signed up for home delivery thru Humana for every 3 months supply for $119.00 delivered to my home.
They stay in contact with my Doctor to keep my supply steady.

Medicare has you sign up for a prescription plan. $500 to $600 deductible. For example: it starts out at around $67.00 a month. It decreases thru out the year when the deductible is met.. it was $10.00 in December. This is how it works in Washington State. Go thru a medical broker or E Health website. They will make sure your Doctor, Dentist, Eye Doctor and Specialist accept Medicare. They will work with you on prescription cost. They are the experts. Medicare costs around $207.00 a month that comes out of your Social Security check.

Beware : Social Security checks will decrease around 2033 if nothing is done to increase the budget. It is stated on the SS website. It may decrease by 25 percent. Please do your research before you retire. Your Doctor may give you a 3 months supply to assist with your transition from work insurance to Medicare.

I’m a Kaiser member~I have Medicare due to my health disabilities. They cover my Meds 100%. Call the company that makes Urso. There are programs that help pay for the medication.
