Typical dosing is 10-15mg/kg/day. However has anyone started at one dose of urso then decreased dosage over time? Or started on a decreased dosage and stayed there because of symptoms? Or did you start at two times a day but change to three times a day due to intolerance to side effects? Wondering how strictly some providers are sticking to the recommended dosing.

I am taking only 750 urso, and weigh 118. I was told I could not take more that it is gauged by our weight. So now on Iqirvo. How are your numbers on just the urso? Sometimes feel like a guinea pig, being used for experimenting. No bad side v effects yet on Iqirvo, just a bit of weight gain, which I despise. Have blood work tomorrow after 8 weeks. Had blood work done after 2 weeks and alp came down over 200, but alt and ast up. Good luck and be stretto ask your dr about getting this med for you. $1200.00 per month!!!!. Most insurance will not pay, other than UK areas

I have taken 2250 mg of urso daily for 19 years and I weigh 140 lbs. I often think people are not taking enough especially when their doc says it is no longer working and wants to put them on another med that has potentially awful side effects. I take most of it at night after dinner so it doesn't upset my stomach. Sometimes, I take half of it with lunch if I'm able.
