There are lots of studies supporting TCM with URSO. Here is a great scholarly article!

Looks like ALHX (anluohuaxian pills) tops some others but not by much.
My disclaimer: I would suggest that anyone reading this thread should discuss CTM with their Doctor. I wouldn’t take any CTM without consulting my hepatologist and I will only take FDA approved products
Am I corresponding with another registered nurse - not a team. Another member mentioned the 2 worlds in another thread and so I did a lit search. I was surprised.
We should be open to all avenues of knowledge and not limit the scope of practice. Most medical doctors strictly follow the medical model with no room for alternatives which is a missed opportunity sometimes. It is a well known fact that URSO is the drug of choice but these can complement URSO and improve our blood work for those where URSO is only partially effective.
I also like to be fully informed.
I will discuss this with my hepatologist. I am betting he already knows. I would hate to think that 20 yrs from now that CTM is used with the medical model and I missed it.
Thanks for bringing any relevant studies to our attention!
I completely agree. There’s a whole subset of complimentary medicine that has been shown to be beneficial outside the US that it’s unfortunate we’re often so ignorant to it and Big Pharma controls so much of what the insurance companies will approve. I’d like to know what side effects there are as they only stated “no serious side effects”? And then what the process might be like to find those pills.
You go girl@!!!!!!
