Sheila, i had researched this as my cholesterol was high as well. I found Fenofibrate and asked my gastroenterologist for a prescription. My cholesterol is fantastic now and numbers for my liver went from over a thousand to 265. But its something to discuss with your doctor.

Lynette I feel like you. My is really high . But my Drs never mentioned anything about it to me.

My cholesterol was high before being diagnosed with PBC. I was on medication for it but then was taken off. I still don't know why. I wonder if researchers have ever considered high cholesterol as a marker for PBC.

My cholesterol is high--but meds for it has NEVER been suggested to me. No idea why. I can't figure doctors out anymore.

Yes mine was almost 500. The put me on rovastatn. 30 mg. It’s working . They said it’s because I’ve been on a steed or a year now,
