- May test positive for AMAs in blood test Stage 3:
- More scar tissue builds up
- Fibrous tissue forms walls blocking bile flow
- Symptoms typically begin appearing
- May experience itchy skin from bile acid buildup
- Elevated liver enzymes
- Higher bilirubin levels possible
