Many community members responded to the question about hot flashes outside of menopause, sharing that they experience them too, especially at night in the form of intense night sweats that disrupt sleep. Several members noted the symptoms happen during the day as well, describing sudden waves of heat from head to toe, with one member wondering if anxiety or feeling overwhelmed may be a trigger. A recurring theme was relief at not being alone, along with the shared frustration of not always knowing whether symptoms are linked to illness, medications, or other conditions like perimenopause.

Yes, I do. You are not alone with it. We ate all in the same boat. Keep your chin up.

Hi Amy, aside from all my other crazy symptoms, I too have felt my temperature change at times and it’s not menopause. I’m in my late 40s so I think it’s perimenopause maybe? I know! It’s hard to know what symptoms are attributed to our illness, meds or other conditions. Very frustrating!
