I love beets and eat them whenever i can. Beets (and their juice) are converted into nitric oxide, this process helps relax and widen blood vessels (vasodilation), improving blood flow, lowering blood pressure, and increasing oxygen delivery to muscles. It's hight in antioxidants. Lime is high in vitamins like c and antioxidants too. Cinammon also high in antioxidants, polyphenols, as well as minerals. Certainly doesn't harm having a glass of it... at any time of day. Remember a freshly brewed cup of coffee is also great for the liver. Black, no sugar. (I never exceed 1/3 teaspoon of cinnamon a day - too much is harmful).

While beets contain nutrients that may support overall health, and staying hydrated is important for liver function, there's no magic drink that will detox your liver in two weeks or any timeframe.
What actually helps with PBC is:
- Following your prescribed medications
- Eating a balanced, nutritious diet
- Staying well-hydrated with water
- Avoiding alcohol
- Working with your hepatologist
Before trying any new dietary regimen, especially on an empty stomach, talk with your doctor or a registered dietitian. They can help you understand what dietary changes might actually benefit your liver health and ensure they won't interfere with your medications or worsen your symptoms.
The best approach is focusing on overall healthy eating habits rather than quick-fix detox claims.
