Hey Pippa can’t hook to @Pippa for some strange reason
Sorry for the abbreviation. Every 10 years we maintain our childhood immunization status by getting a “booster” of diphtheria, tetanus and acellular pertussis (whooping cough) shot.
I had it. I had no adverse effects from it.
I am in the process of the A/B vaccines. I’ve had two rounds and get the third and final shot in 5 months. No reactions at all. My Dr recommended since I also have AIH and said I’m more susceptible to them.
The lab has commented on my results to say as i have no protection from hep B i need to have the vaccine. Waiting for my gp to get in touxh as i still havent seen a specialist yet so dont kbow what stage im at etc.
My doctor advised me to get Hepatitis A and B vaccines as well as the vaccine for Pneumonia and Shingles (within the first year of my diagnosis). I did all four over time and had no adverse reactions whatsoever. By the way, great question! 😉
