@A myPBCteam Member @A myPBCteam Member when I’m too tired to exercise I do this gentle Qi Gong routine, it is very gentle, not tiring, and I find it beneficial, you use muscles but slowly and it is relaxing. It’s 20 minutes.

I did the routine alot when I was chronically fatigued for six months with long covid in 2022. (I think that + subsequent three more covid infections might have triggered the PBC… πŸ€”).

I turn to the Qi Gong routine again now sometimes with my new found fatigue / diagnosis of PBC.

The same lady also has a head and face massage video which I also recommend 😎.

Hope you try and like it 🌸🀩🀞✨

I think you may be on to something about the COVID triggering the PBC because I did routine physicals and blood draws and after getting hit with COVID I 2020 I had it pretty bad a whole month and half I was sick I then got diagnosed with PBC. I'm going to look into the Qi Gong thanks for that 😊

Fatigue with PBC is so real, and you're definitely not alone in feeling this way. The good news is that even tiny amounts of movement can make a difference β€” you don't need to run a marathon to get benefits!

Fatigue with PBC is so real, and you're definitely not alone in feeling this way. The good news is that even tiny amounts of movement can make a difference β€” you don't need to run a marathon to get benefits!

Here are some gentle ways other people with PBC get moving despite fatigue:

- A short 5-minute walk each morning
- Chair exercises with light weights or a stretch band
- Gentle water exercises at a pool
- Light bouncing on a rebounder
- Cycling on a stationary bike at a comfortable pace while watching TV
- Deep breathing and stretching

The key is starting small and building up slowly. Even breaking up time spent sitting can improve energy levels over time. As one myPBCteam member shared, "I take one day at a time and try to be as active as possible. I take short walks to get a little exercise." Another said that changing their diet alongside some exercise "did some wonders" for them.

A few important things to keep in mind:

- Always check with your doctor before starting any new exercise routine
- Heavy weightlifting can temporarily raise certain liver enzyme levels, so discuss this with your doctor first
- PBC can increase the risk of bone loss, so your doctor can help identify which exercises are safest for you

Small victories count β€” celebrate every bit of movement you manage! πŸ’ͺ
