I know one can cause myopathy of the muscle. Which I already have. I been approved for both of them.
No replies??? I wanted to know also. My Dr is thinking of putting me on one of those. But they didn't mention that one of those takes 6% from your bone density. So they are working on building my density which is not good already just so the drug can take it.
Anyone got something to add??
Both Livdelzi (seladelpar) and Iqirvo (elafibranor) were recently approved in 2024 for PBC treatment. These medications can be taken either alone or in combination with UDCA if you're not getting optimal results from UDCA alone.

Obsolete?! My doctor has been trying to put me on that for almost a year now. But because of the cost( too expensive for me) the group want me on Urso for a year before they approve Octavia.
I have not. If you do, let us know how it goes. I was on Ocaliva for a couple of years and my all phos numbers came down nicely. However, my liver doc told me it is already obsolete. I'm happy that research is happening for PBC. It was a long time coming.
