Hi Belva, I’m sorry for the delay in answering your question, I am taking a multivitamin from New Chapter for Women 55+ along with vit. D 3, B Complex, Calcium plus vit. D 3, (Dr. wanted me taking vit D 3 - 5000 in per day total) - my hepatologist recommended these. When I was experiencing hair loss I was on a different multivitamin so I switched to the New Chapter ones, shortly after that I noticed new hair growth. I’m not sure if that’s what helped me or if my hair loss was a result of being on Urso and eventually my body adjusting to it.

It was interesting I am currently seeing two liver specialists, as long as my insurance covers all of them I will continue. The first liver specialist stated I was in stage 3 from what the fiber scan showed. I asked the second liver doc and he said he doesn't see that, and he doesn't trust scans. He stated the only way to tell is a liver bio. He also stated he didn't want to put me through that at this point. He asked me yesterday if he could discuss me with the first doc. (He said they are friends) I told him I'm good with it. The reason I got a second opinion is because I didn't like the way the first doc passed me off. She stated during last visit with her, you are stage 3 liver and I will see you in 6 months, no meds, no diagnoses. Went for the second opinion he found that my AMA was up, diagnosed me and put me on meds, which brought all my blood test into normal range. With a wing and a prayer we go forward.

A couple months after being on Urso I started noticing quite a bit of hair loss, which was a lot compared to my usual seasonal hair loss. I switched my multivitamin and my hair is growing back. My lab numbers have improved. I am on a low dose of urso. I hope the Livdelzi will work well for you and stop the hair loss and itching.
