I have the opposite with minimal smell and taste but I think it’s connected to previous covid diagnosis (almost 4 years now…).

No thankfully.

I have noticed a heightened sense of smell recently too, and not in a great way. Smells that I like (or at least didn’t mind) before are starting to smell bad to me now. This includes some foods, beverages, or the scent of candles burning.

I do but have always been sensitive to smell. It gets really bad when I’m nauseous.
