Should I just assume that I don't have PBC or still see a hepatologist to make sure? Don't know why I am so itchy on my palms, wrists, soles of feet and all over.
Thank you Verdie - I never thought of using rubbing alcohol. I do use an anti-itching cream which seems to help. and if it's a really bad itching day for me, I'll take a Zyrtec pill which takes the itch away completely for me. And, it doesn't make me tired.
That's one of the top symptoms of PBC. It usually affects my hands, arms, back, and the area under by breasts the most. The intensity will vary. I use aveeno bath powder to help control it when it's bad. I've tried countless creams, but I find that using plain rubbing alcohol seems to work best for me.
