Here is my question: does AMA titter and AMA2 automatically consider positive for PBC?, recently back in Feb 2025 I tested positive for AMA titter being 1:40 and AMA2 113 but my GI tells me that since my liver enzymes are normal she wants to “wait and see” before she starts any medication. First of all, that attitude? Absolutely the right one. "PBC does not have me" — that's the energy! 🙏 Now let's break this down clearly, because there's actually a lot to unpack here.
Does a positive AMA titer and AMA-M2 automatically mean PBC?
Not automatically, no. A positive AMA (at 1:40 or higher) is a *strong* Show Full Answer

Thanks for this info🥰
Suerte!!
I wi take a look at it tonight!!! Thanks for sharing
