Welcome to our group!

My name is Mary and I was vomiting every day and especially at night. I am taking Ursodiol. I finally figured out that I can't eat and drink at the same time. It's one or the other. If I overeat (I just mean a little more than normal) I will vomit. If I eat something greasy it's a guarantee I will be sick. I was on a pretty strict diet because of my diabetes to start with, but I've had to make changes. My doctor gave me some medication for the vomiting but it really didn't help. I just take Gaviscon now and it does help a bit. I suggest trying to eat without liquids. Maybe a couple of hours later have a drink of something. That worked for me most of the time. I still vomit once or twice a week but for the most part I feel better. I recently added Iqirvo to my medications and this has helped. It's extremely expensive ($7000/month) but some help is provided by manufacturer. Talk with your doctor and see if he thinks it will work for you.
