Yes, absolutely. Having normal labs and taking Ursodiol doesn't mean symptoms disappear. Ursodiol helps protect the liver and slow disease progression, but it doesn't directly treat many of the day-to-day symptoms of PBC.

Some symptoms that can persist even with treatment include:

- Fatigue — one of the most common and stubborn symptoms
- Itchy skin (pruritus) — Ursodiol rarely helps with this
- Bloating and gas
- Digestive issues like nausea, diarrhea, or stomach pain
- Hair thinning It's also worth knowing that some of these symptoms can actually be side effects of Ursodiol itself, making it tricky to know what's causing what. A myPBCteam member shared that adjusting the timing or dose of Ursodiol (with their doctor's guidance) helped ease some side effects.

Always loop in your healthcare provider if symptoms are affecting your quality of life — there are additional treatments available to help manage specific symptoms like itching.
